The Wild And Furious Era
That's how it was in the early 70th ....
Beards, long hair, alternative, loud and no limits.
My first band "Zoy" was axactly like that, as you can see.
You eventually might guess, which one on the picture I am.
We had some gigs at youth centers, open airs, beer gardens.
Everything low budget, money was the only thing we did not have.
But we had a lot of fun.
Everything was uncomplicated.
The only anger was about who had to bring the empty beer bottles back.....
In 2024 we would have the 50 th. band jubilee (if the band would still be existing )
But in fact, I still have contact with one former members from time to time - Ingolf Bien, Bass player.
Unfortunately, I do not have any recordings from that time.
We played songs like
"Doctor doctor" from UFO, lots of black sabbath and deep purple stuff.
Rocking like hell. Fun like hell.
But finally - one of us moved, one got married, one started studying ...
just like the content of another song from Bon Jovi....
So it had an end after some time, but with great memories.
I don't want to miss them..
