I started playing music at the age of 8 triggered by a school project.

I tried several instruments, but keyboards - yes that's it.

So- please don't shoot at the piano player.

At least I got a real piano, sponsored by my parents. Sponsoring included piano lessons from the local church organist.

That was the only one available at this time.

Classical piano lessons which I really hated at the end after some years.

The organist very soon sent me to play at the church organ to play the devotions and small masses, because that made his job easy.

At least, the younger girls and guys came in more and more, the older ones complained.

Why ?

The sound in the church was more like Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Queen and gospel than normal heard european church music.

So this story had a quick end and I was sacked from his piano lessons.

At the end it was the best thing that could happen to me.

I started to make the music of my own interest.

As an opportunity to make some money, I also  started to accompany sport courses in Gymnastic with piano playing .

It was great fun an I got a lot of money for that.

But my goal was to play in a real band.

Cause a piano was not to transport everywhere and only had limited sound variations, I decided - I need to have an organ.

Best would be a Hammond B3 with a mechanical lesley.....

After knowing the price.... Frustration.

So I built my first organ as a kit, soldering all the electronics, wireing and connecting.

At least I had my first analogue drawbar organ, built by myself in nearly one year.

Music - here I come.
